Every box we craft
is made from ancient growth trees, whose life may span, literally, a thousand years. The

Located in the Pacific Northwest, just outside
Washington State's capitol, Olympia, Millennia Wood was founded by us in 1985. In
addition to our website, we display and sell our creations at the Olympia Farmer's Market.

The nature of the exquisite wood
we use, and our unique crafting technique, make each box different. We have a number of
boxes in inventory, some with unadorned natural grain, others with laser applied images
that reflect the flavor of the Pacific Northwest. See our Gallery

Many of our customers prefer to have their hand split box
personalized, or customized, with an image they supply. These images may be drawings or
pictures of favorite people, places, pets, etc., which they supply in either hard copy or

Crafted from a single
piece of wood, our hand split boxes use a unique method of
securing the lid of the box, and continuing to provide the appearance of a single piece of
